Mind, Body, Soul

Being rich goes beyond having money and earthly possessions.  Truly being rich includes being rich in mind, body, and soul.  If you are lacking in any one of these areas, then you are not truly rich.  If you are physically fit, but don’t have your sound mind are you really rich?  If you are a spiritual guru, but lack physical health, are you really rich?  Being rich is inclusive of all of the parts of you.  To be the best version of yourself you need to be rich in all of these areas.

Your Obligation to be Rich

The first chapter of The Science of Getting Rich is called “The Right to be Rich”. The text is based on the fact that each person is born with a purpose.  Each person also has the right to be successful at his/her purpose.  In the pursuit of their purpose an individual may need to acquire and/or experience several things along the way that can help them achieve their purpose.  Not to mention you will need to be in good health, and have your mind, and soul together.  Keeping those things in tact require you to be rich.  Rich as defined by you.  Just as an apple tree requires a rich soil to produce its’ best fruit, you require a rich life to fulfill your purpose.

Money as a Tool

When you describe what rich is you may include a specific amount of money. But, is it the money that makes us rich? We only use the money to acquire a certain lifestyle or the things that we need to fulfill our purpose. If you are locked in a vault with one hundred million dollars and cannot escape, are you rich? Absolutely not. It is not the money that makes us rich. It is the way we live. It is being able to fulfill our purpose; it is the experiences that we enjoy, and the people that we enjoy them with. These are the things that make us rich. Money is simply a tool used to help us become rich in mind, body, and soul. That is the abundant life.

Challenge

Write down your purpose along with the things that you want and need in life.  Trust that you have the right to be rich.  Know that you are obligated to be rich.  Define what a rich life is for yourself.  Be sure to include all of the things that help you complete your purpose.  Be honest, and have fun.  Don’t be afraid to dream big.  Also, if you haven’t already make sure you read chapter one of ” Science of Getting Rich”.
